Who :: This event is geared towards Charleston area moms who are currently expecting a baby, had a baby within the last year, foster moms of infants, or moms who are planning on growing their family soon.
What :: An afternoon of learning, fun, and celebration! Moms will get to listen and ask questions of our expert panel, enjoy delicious food, interact with local businesses and enter to win fun giveaways, have their photo taken by a professional photographer at our bump+baby station with an adorable backdrop, and so much more! It’s your one-stop-shop for all things mom!
Why :: Whether you’re expecting for the first or third time, have a newborn at home, are waiting for that phone call or paperwork to clear to bring that baby to their forever home, this event is for you. Every guest will leave with an adorable tote bag filled with fantastic swag, enjoy specialty food, meet and chat with other moms, enter some fabulous giveaways and receive introductions to local experts on topics pertaining to parenting.

**Please Note: Bloom is geared towards new and expecting moms. Children over one year will not be permitted due to space constraints, children under one year old preferred to be worn in a carrier or held as there is limited room for strollers at this event.

Amber Weakley grew up in Charleston and is happily raising her two boys in this beautiful city. She is the Outreach Coordinator for Postpartum Support Charleston where helping other mothers is her life’s mission. She has been married for 10 years to her high school sweetheart, and fills her cup by doing yoga, journaling, and going on adventures with her family.
Erica Hoppenrath – Cord Blood Registry
Erica is your local Cbr® Account Manager. She lives in Charleston, SC but travels all over the Carolinas consulting parents on why they should consider preserving their newborn’s stem cells for their family’s future use and why they should consider Cbr® as their family bank.
Megan Rome – Rome Physical Therapy
Rome Physical Therapy focuses on pre and postnatal rehabilitation in order to allow moms to move confidently! Megan, Owner, and Founder of Rome Physical Therapy works with women who struggle with urinary or bowel issues, pelvic pain or pressure, and help prepare your body for childbirth and the first few years as a new mom! Unfortunately, Pelvic Floor issues often make us feel lost and less confident. However, at Rome Physical Therapy she strives to work with you to better understand the strength of your body, pelvic floor, and core so that you can move confidently without fear of leakage, making something worse, or just simply dealing with it! Megan believes in functional care where you can see positive changes within 3-5 visits to help regain control over your own life! Struggling with pelvic floor issues of her own, she is passionate about changing what is COMMON but certainly NOT NORMAL!
Stevee Martin – Fit4Mom Charleston
Stevee Martin is a North Carolina native who has called Charleston home for the last seven years. She has been married to her husband, Austin, for seven years, and together they have a four-year-old son, Jack, and a nine-month-old, Graham. She became a member of FIT4MOM Charleston when her son was four weeks old and quickly fell in love. She trained to become an instructor and has now been instructing classes for the moms of FIT4MOM Charleston for a little over three years. She is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and specifically loves coaching moms who are finding their inner strength and appreciation for their bodies through exercise. Most recently, she has become one of the new co-owners of FIT4MOM Charleston and is so honored to continue the legacy of what makes this space so special as she helps reach all the moms in the community.
