It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s the Charleston Moms, Hanging with Heroes fall event! Are you ready to hang out with your favorite heroes? Your family can enjoy fun at Mason Preparatory School with local firefighters, police, firetrucks, police cars and more! You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with favorite superheroes from Curiouser Entertainment! Combine this all with interactive activities, games, arts & crafts, food, local vendors and more – it’s an event you don’t want to miss!

EVENT DATE :: Saturday, November 16 from 10 am – 1 pm

A HUGE thank you to Mason Preparatory School for hosting this event! We can’t wait to showcase their beautiful campus while allowing your family the opportunity to learn more about the incredible academic programs they offer. Their friendly and welcoming facility and students will make you feel right at home.

The Scoop on Tickets :: 

Because of the high level of interest in this event (and the fact that we can only accommodate a certain number of attendees), we are anticipating that tickets will go quickly! For that reason, we want to make sure you have all the necessary details to secure your tickets!

  • Everyone ages 1 and up will need a ticket for the event – babies (under the age of 1) are free.
  • Tickets can be purchased at the bottom of this page.
  • We are limiting the number of available tickets in order to ensure that everyone who attends has a wonderful experience. There are not any additional required expenses once you are there, unless you want to purchase items from our sponsors.
  • You are able to purchase tickets for friends or family members.
  • Tickets are transferable but NOT refundable. The event will take place rain or shine!
  • The location is stroller-friendly.
  • Should there be inclement weather, we will let you know the rain details in an email and on the Facebook event page the week of the event.
  • All service departments including fire and police will be on call during Hanging With Heroes. In the event they are called to an emergency they will need to leave the event prior to the scheduled end time.
  • Be sure you plan on a morning of active fun! Wear clothes and shoes you can play in! Yes, parents — you too!
  • Find your best superhero attire and come dressed to impress!

Kristin was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. She moved to South Carolina to pursue an education in Public Health at Coastal Carolina University. While attending CCU, she met her husband of 6 years. She worked for the state of South Carolina for seven years as a nutritionist before she had the opportunity to stay at home as a full time mom. In October of 2016, she relocated to Charleston for her husband’s job. They welcomed their son in February 2017. She loves spending time with her family outdoors- camping, bike riding and beach going. Creating delicious, healthy meals and curling up with a good book have always been some of her favorite hobbies.
