Aware, Care, & Share
We are AWARE of each child, their needs and their interests, by observing and assessing. We CARE by using those observations and assessments to plan a curriculum customized to each child. We SHARE each child’s learning and classroom experiences with families.
This piece of La Petite Academy’s program is where teachers get to know the students so that they can plan personalized learning experiences that help develop academic skills as well as life skills (communicating, making friends, etc.) The progress is shared with parents through portfolios and conferences. Before and After-School Clubhouse
The classroom is a great place to learn, but the staff at La Petite Academy know that learning takes place everywhere. Mixing independent and organized activities, education and recreation, the before- and after-school clubs for school-age students offer a unique, fresh approach to character development. La Petite Academy also features healthy breakfasts and snacks as well as homework support.
The before-school programs aim to set children up for productive days. Through an effective morning routine that focuses on daily goals, the club encourages self-awareness, integrity, and responsibility and sense of purpose.
The after-school clubs focus on student-led activities and large group experiences. This, along with team-building games, promotes collaboration and self-reflection. Children learn about independence, conscious reflection, personal responsibility, and a sense of community.
