ArtFest 2024

This annual festival at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre brings families and cultural enthusiasts together with budding and professional artists for an event that showcases a diverse array of local and regional artistic talent.
Local music, dance and visual arts studios offer stunning performances by some of the area’s most talented individuals and groups. Creative aspirations are ignited in children who are given opportunities to explore many art forms and create their own masterpieces.
Ready to perform on the main stage are Jennie Moore Elementary School Mini Monarchs, Unified Hip Hop Swagger, Jennie Moore Elementary School Chorus, Charleston Dance Works, Bach to Rock Mount Pleasant, Holy City Dance Center, Palmetto Twirlers, Legacy Irish Dance Academy, LOWCO Suzuki Guitar and The Dance Art Studio.
Food and snacks will be available for purchase from Zimo’s Gyros, Happy Thai, Delights Desserts & Coffee, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Kona Ice, Holy City Popcorn and Holy City Homemade Italian Ice. Plus, beer & wine from Burtons Grill & Bar.
Stroll the Art Walk, featuring the incredible creations of local artists such as Potting Around, Sheryl Sabol Photography, Studio 13 North, Momma Maddie’s Sweetgrass, Joe Benton Photographic Art, Clay and Sea, KLM Jewelry, Jason Travis Woodwork, Sterling Art Studios, Art by Valarie Greene and Rooted in Charleston.
Tons of kids activities including Pedal-powered Spin Art with Good Clean Fun, caricatures, balloon art, glitter tattoos, face painting, fairy hair, Sweetgrass Basket demonstrations, Just Bee Bee Hive, arts & crafts and more! Plus, exhibits from the Mount Pleasant Artist Guild, Drama Kids, Mount Pleasant Family Martial Arts, Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina and more.
All activities and performances are free of charge. The event is for residents and visitors of all ages, from young parents and children through seniors.
