October 7 | The Pluff Mud String Band
The Pluff Mud String Band is a Charleston-based folk string band that plays traditional old time fiddle music. The full lineup includes blazin’ fiddle, funky banjo, thumping doghouse bass, rip-roarin’ guitar, and what really sets the band apart, a professional tap dancer, all melding together to form a unique sound and upbeat energy.
October 14 | Wombat Junction
Wombat Junction is a band from Columbia, SC rooted in rock but not bound to its limitations. Each member brings a unique vision that, when combined, become a musical Voltron of sorts that results in a sound both comfortably familiar and thought-provokingly unique. The group leans heavily into a rich four part harmony layered on top of guitar rock that pulls from influences from across the musical spectrum.
October 21 | Lyn Avenue
Driven by rich vocals, electrifying leads, and boot stomping rhythms is up-and-coming husband and wife duo known as LYN AVENUE bringing you honest, compelling stories about life in the modern South. Both born and raised in Savannah, GA, Lyn Avenue is comprised of songwriters CC Witt and Patrick Ellington. Their writing style is rooted in sharp lyricism and memorable melodies, organically blending elements of Americana, Folk and Classic Country with just the right amount of southern charm. There is always a story to be told with Lyn Avenue and you can guarantee that you’ll be wanting to sing along.
October 28 | Jared Petteys and the Headliners
Jared Petteys is a self taught guitarist and vocalist that picked up guitar by ear at age 8. He began his music career while serving in the Army in Savannah Ga. His act consisted of high energy performances and raw soaring vocals backed by a jumping rhythm section.
Jared moved to Charleston SC seeing a wide open opportunity to spread his original music and open his business, Retro-Sonic Records & Productions, to support his band and dream. Jared Petteys & The Headliners featuring upright bass player Stephen Palmer and drummer Chad Solomon, are the official house band of the largest retro festivals in the south east, Rockabillaque and was nominated “Best Local Band Of Charleston 2020” by the Charleston City Paper, named “Gretsch Spotlight Artist Of The Month” in May 2021, and is currently in the Top 4 finalists of the worldwide songwriting competition, “Rockabilly Rumble.
