Nuvo Images is a local photography studio that has already been providing Charleston with a high-end portrait experience for many years. The studio is not only known locally but has been recognized and awarded internationally for its portrait art through the Professional Photographers of America association, most notably winning the grand imaging award of 2016 which is the largest print competition for portrait and wedding photographers in the world. The owners, Ted and Rachel Linczak, who each have their Master of Photography degrees, specialize in creating custom works of photographic art to be featured prominently in their clients’ homes.
Nuvo Images is proud to bring back their Wonder of Santa experience again this year, and believe me, you don’t want to miss this opportunity! These aren’t just any Santa pics. You’ll leave the session with children on cloud nine, and shortly after you’ll receive legacy artwork that will be part of your family’s story for generations to come. They take beautiful photos, which are then digitally painted and transformed into heirloom-quality art.
I did this with my daughter last year, and it was truly amazing. We loved the portraits so much that we never took them down after the holiday season. The artwork is beautiful and we love enjoying it year-round. It was also really awesome that my daughter felt so special for getting to hang out with Santa!
Wonder of Santa Session Details
Santa visits the Nuvo Images studio in Summerville, and you and your family will meet him for an exclusive one-hour interactive session in a distraction-free environment. The whole experience is dreamlike. When your child enters the studio, it’s like walking into your living room on Christmas Eve.
In their quest to create timeless art and lifetime memories, Ted and Rachel haven’t missed a detail. They provide custom pajamas for your child to wear during the session, have hand-selected antique toys, a beautiful set, and best of all, a real Santa (one who is so perfect he looks like he really just flew in from the North Pole). They also have endless patience, which is pretty fabulous if it takes your kid a while to warm up! They will work with your child to go through a series of fun activities with Santa, all while creating everlasting, custom artwork.
Your child and Santa will:
- Enjoy milk and cookies together
- Find your child’s name on Santa’s list
- Read the nice book together
- Look in Santa’s magical gift bag
- “Paint” antique toys
Another really unique feature is that you can bring your own items to incorporate into the set. During our session, we took one childhood toy of mine, one of my husband’s, one of my mom’s, and one of his mom’s. They’re all in each of our pics and look so authentic. It really added a cool personal touch.
