Charleston Moms has partnered with Moranz Entertainment to bring our readers the following article.

Charleston’s favorite holiday tradition returns in December as Moranz Entertainment brings the Charleston Christmas Special to the Charleston Music Hall for its 27th season. This year’s show runs Dec. 15 to Dec. 22. Tickets are on sale now at charlestonchristmasspecial.com.

Audiences of all ages will be delighted by the music, dancing and skits featuring some of the country’s most talented performers. Charleston Christmas Special regulars Tiffany Parker, Jenna Flaherty, Michael Minor and Damon McToy will be back this year along with newcomers Tonya Williams and Christopher McCrewell.

Plus, audiences will be treated to talented youth performers Addie Collins and Silas Moody-Laird.

And no Moranz Entertainment show is complete without the comedy of husband-and-wife duo Brad and Jennifer Moranz. The two write, choreograph, produce and star in the Charleston Christmas Special each year.

“It’s Christmastime year-round in our household. There’s never a time Jenny and I aren’t working on the Christmas Special,” Brad Moranz said.

They are continually on the hunt for new takes on holiday classics or songs that haven’t been part of the Charleston Christmas Special in the past.

“Even though the theme each year is Christmas, it’s a brand-new production year after year,” Brad Moranz said. “Whether you’ve seen our show one time or 20 times, it’s never exactly the same.”

Brad and Jennifer Moranz combine a variety of music styles with dance and comedy skits for an action-packed performance. This year, audiences will be treated to songs like For King + Country’s version of “Little Drummer Boy,” Bette Midler’s rendition of “Cool Yule,” and Bruce Springsteen’s take on “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”

Tonya Williams will perform a little-known CeCe Winans song “All Because” while Damon McToy sings Larnelle Harris’ version of “Go Tell It On the Mountain.”

Brad and Jennifer Moranz carefully match each singer to each song, resulting in an unforgettable musical experience.

“We’re fortunate to have so much incredible talent in one show. Each performer is different, and we’re able to really showcase their musical strengths,” he said. “Audiences will be wowed with what we have in store this year.”
