Easter is coming up, and there are A LOT of activities happening over the next couple weeks! If you’re a mom on the hunt for an egg hunt, check out our list below!

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Date: March 12, 9-10 am

Location: Citadel Mall, 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd, Charleston

Citadel Mall will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny to benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank. With the donation of a non-perishable food item, children will enjoy breakfast from Chick-fil-A, a goodie bag, music from Y102.5, a balloon artist from Carol’s Balloon Arts, and of course, a special guest appearance by the Easter Bunny! Reservations are required. Easter Eggstravaganza Charleston Museum

Date: March 19, 10am- 12pm

Location: the Charleston Museum Lobby, 360 Meeting St. Charleston

Have a Hoppy Holiday with craft making at the Charleston Museum followed by an Easter egg hunt in the garden of the Joseph Manigault house. FREE for Museum members and free with admission for Non-members.

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt

Grab your Easter basket and your head lamp and join us for this one-of-a-kind event! Our annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt is fun for the whole family. Join us on Friday, March 25 for carnival games, food, face painting, photos with the Easter bunny, and, of course, our Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. Hunting zones are divided by age group. Over 3,000 eggs hidden!! Carnival games open at 7:00 pm. Egg hunt begins at 8:00 pm. $5 per child. $7 day of. Registration is now open. 763-4360 for more information.

IOP Easter Egg Hunt

In the event of rain, the Easter festivities will be move into the gym where the children will be given candy and have the opportunity to have their photo with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Date: March 26, 10am

Location: Middleton Place, 4300 Ashley River Road, Charleston

Bring a basket for the egg hunts which will take place in the Gardens. Once found, the hard-boiled eggs can be taken to the Stableyards to be dyed. Additionally, children play colonial games, participate in the Egg Roll and Egg Toss, hear classic stories and make Easter crafts. Beyond the Eggstravaganza activities, families may linger at Middleton Place and delight in the day’s regular activities all afternoon.

West Ashley Easter Egg Hunt

Date: March 26, 2-4pm

Location: Bees Landing Recreation Center, 1580 Ashley Gardens Blvd, Charleston

They will have over 8,000 eggs, jump castles, crafts, face painting, pictures, and more! Don’t forget your basket!

Spring Festival

Date: March 26, 11am-3pm

Location: Freshfields Village, 165 Village Green Lane, Kiawah Island, SC

Children can enjoy a jump castle, inflatable games, mechanical bull, face-painting, spring crafts, and perform on stage with interactive performer John Cusatis. Let the kids play while you browse art work from the Kiawah and Seabrook Artists Guilds on display during the event. Plus, enjoy tasty treats from local food vendors. St. John’s Fire Department will host their annual Spring Into Safety event with tours of their fire engines, Fire Extinguisher training, Escape Planning and Safety Tips, PLINKO for Prizes, and a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog. In addition, Sea Island Habitat For Humanity Women Build will host their annual Beam-a-Thon during the festival. Make a donation to paint a beam that will be used to build the Women Build home in April. You can also take your picture as Rosie the Riveter, the Sea Island Women Build mascot.
