Summer is nearly upon us in Charleston. The days are longer (and hotter) and it’s the perfect time to gather the family and head out for some entertainment. Be sure to keep these free (or cheap) movies in mind when planning your outings.

Regal Cinemas

Regal Cinemas movie theaters are offering $1 movies all summer long as part of its Summer Movie Express. Participating locations will shows ‘G’ and ‘PG’ movies on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Lowcountry movie theaters that are participating are listed below:

  • Regal Azalea Square & RPX (Azalea Square Blvd., Summerville) Starts June 22nd.
  • Regal Palmetto Grande (Theatre Drive, Mount Pleasant) Starts June 22nd.

The Summer Movie Clubhouse is a kid-friendly summer movie series that happens every Wednesday from June 16 – August 4. Attend for only $1.50 per ticket, per movie and save even more with $1 OFF deals on kids’ snack packs, large popcorns & large drinks during Summer Movie Clubhouse showtimes.

This year Cinemark Movies 8 in Summerville is participating.
