Details: Featuring over 700 displays and 2 million lights, the Holiday Festival of Lights is a cherished holiday tradition for many families throughout Charleston and beyond.

Details: Don’t miss the spectacular laser light show and the lighting of our 40′ Christmas tree. Live performances by the East Cooper Baptist Church Choir & Orchestra and Gravel Road, a bluegrass band with a modern twist, featuring vocal harmony precision, popular song choices, and holiday favorites. A visit from jolly old St. Nicholas himself. Face painting, balloon animals, and glitter tattoos. It all happens in front of Belk.

Details: We are thrilled to return to Marion Square this year to continue the tradition of celebrating in person as a community. Please plan on being there with your neighbors, friends, and family. Bring an appetite and your dancing shoes. We will supply the hot food, the live music, and the festive atmosphere! Details: The 2021 Old Time Summerville Christmas Celebration will have a tree lighting ceremony at Hutchinson Square, music, pictures with Santa, live window displays, letters to Santa, food vendors, and ice skating (reserve your ice skating time slot in advance.)

Details: Enjoy a special evening at the historic Edmondston-Alston House. Tour the festively decorated house by candlelight and hear the Charleston Caroling Company. Warm up in the courtyard with a glass of wine or hot cider where local storyteller, Fouché Sheppard, will perform Gullah Christmas stories. This event will follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and masks will be required inside the house.

Details: Enjoy musical interludes leading up to Mayor Tecklenburg lighting up the tree in Marion Square as part of Illumination Charleston.

Details: Kickoff the holiday season in Goose Creek as the City’s Christmas tree is lit for everyone to see! Christmas in the Creek will feature holiday hayrides, holiday crafts, s’mores roasting, hot chocolate provided by Helping Hands of Goose Creek, photos with Santa, and LOTS more! The tree lighting will take place at 6:00 p.m. The Lakeside Light Display will be up throughout the month of December.

Annual Hanahan Christmas Parade
Dates: December 4, 10 am – 12 pm
Location: Hanahan High School
Details: We invite the community to come and kick off the Christmas season with a parade. The parade will start and end at Hanahan High School.

Details: Join Addlestone Hebrew Academy for a free, community-wide celebration! Your family will enjoy crafts and activities for kids of all ages, latkes, giveaways, and an exclusive peek inside our school! Details: The Charleston Christmas Parade is back this year and will be better than ever! Bands, floats, marchers, and performers proceed through the streets of historic Charleston. The parade will commence on Broad Street at Rutledge Avenue, travel North on Meeting Street, and conclude on Calhoun Street at Meeting Street.

Details: Watch or join in the parade of lighted golf carts as they make their way down Brighton Park Boulevard and around the square. Enjoy live music and ooh and ahh over the annual tree lighting.

Details: Join us on December 11th in Santa’s favorite beach town for The Annual City of Folly Beach Christmas Parade! Line up along Center Street as floats, marching bands and community associations show their holiday spirit. Visitors and locals are all welcome! Join Santa at Folly River Park to receive goodies after the parade!

Location: Charleston Harbor
Details: The Charleston Holiday Parade of Boats is an annual event, now in its 40th year (2021). Participants decorate their vessels for a cruise around the Charleston Harbor. Thousands of spectators line the shores along the Charleston peninsula, Patriot’s Point, and other great viewing locations.

Details: The Fall Festival was canceled due to weather, so we are having our 1st Annual Christmas Festival. From 5-9 pm on Friday the 17th of December & 10-5 pm on Saturday the 18th.
