Corrine Jones Community Playground
With a brave, curious two-year-old who likes to climb anything and everything, some of the bigger playgrounds can be challenging. I want to keep my kids safe, while also letting them have fun and explore the equipment independently. What I appreciate about Corrine Jones Playground is that all of the equipment is just the right size for a toddler. Plus, there’s even a sandbox!
This beautiful community garden came to life in late 2019 and is home to around 60 garden beds. While the produce isn’t available for visitors to eat, I enjoy walking through the garden with my kiddos and talking about the fruits, vegetables, flowers, and insects we see. If you’re interested in volunteering or adding your name to the waitlist for a garden bed, you can email [email protected].
Vacation Bible School tends to be very popular for kids in the summer months around the Lowcountry, and fortunately, there are many options available....
