Spreading Holiday Cheer With Light the World Giving Machines

1

Looking for a fun, easy, way to spread some holiday cheer? Bring your family and friends to the Light the World Giving Machines coming to Charleston December 19-23. These bright red machines are like vending machines, easy to spot and fun to use, but instead of dispensing gum and candy bars, they give shoppers the chance to buy items for people in need.

At the Giving Machines, it’s all about the experience of giving. Items start at $5 and go up to $400. Just swipe your debit or credit card, make a selection, and a card with a picture of your donation will fall into the collection bin. Kids of all ages will have fun shopping at the Giving Machine! I know my son is eyeing some chickens to help spread the love worldwide and I’m looking to give a bus pass to a local neighbor down on their luck. No matter what we end up choosing, one thing’s for sure, these Giving Machines are sure to lift everyone and unite our community. 100% of our donation goes to the charity of our choosing. In 2021, 300,000 people helped raise 5.8 million dollars for local and global charities.

For the first time ever, these mobile machines are coming to Charleston and we can’t wait to show them what the Lowcountry is all about. Located conveniently across from the Charleston Place Hotel at 131 Market Street, the machines will be open Monday through Wednesday from 10 am to 9 pm, and Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 11 pm. Come out for this fun event and help Light the World this holiday season.
