Summerville Sweet Tea Festival

Come enjoy this annual festival in historic downtown Summerville, the birthplace of sweet tea! With live music, food, and of course, sweet tea, it will be fun for the whole family!

MOJA Arts Festival

The annual MOJA Arts Festival will usher in the changing of Charleston’s seasons with a celebration of African-American and Caribbean Arts. Music, art, theatre, dance, and other performance arts promise to wow audiences in an exciting lineup. MOJA, which means, “one” in Swahili, symbolizes the harmony of one community. Join in the fun and enjoy ethnic food, traditional crafts, children’s events, jazz, poetry readings, and much more!

Summerville Rotary Oktoberfest

It’s Oktoberfest time again in Summerville. Come out and enjoy great family fun, food trucks, jump castles, German Music and of course plenty of great beer! Admission is free!

Goose Creek Fall Festival

Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center, 519 N Goose Creek Blvd, Goose Creek, SC 29445

This family-friendly festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., outdoors behind the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center located at 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd. This annual event features local entertainment, crafters, exhibitors, food vendors, and free kids’ activities! Parking and admission are free.

Oktoberfest Charleston

12th Annual Arts & Crafts Fair

Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, 3550 Ashley River Rd., Charleston 29414

Magnolia’s “Autumn on the Ashley” Arts and Craft Fair is back! Dozens of Lowcountry artisans will feature their handcrafted items for sale from 9 am – 5 pm. Featured items include wood carvings, paintings, textiles, jewelry, photography, natural skincare, lawn art and more.

Scarecrows on the Square

Scarecrows, decorated by local businesses and groups, will be on display during this annual event brought to you by the Junior Service League of Summerville.

Kickoff is October 12, runs through October 26. 

Latin American Festival

North Charleston Wannamaker County Park, 8888 University Blvd., North Charleston, SC 29406

Celebrate the sights and sounds of the Latin world with live Salsa and Merengue music, authentic food and crafts, and plenty of fun for the entire family.

Pumpkin Painting Party

Hazel Parker Playground, 70 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29401
Join your friends at the playground to decorate a kooky or spooky Halloween pumpkin. This event is BYOP – Bring your own pumpkin! All decorating supplies will be provided. Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.

 Fall Family Festival

Our annual Fall Family Festival is a fun and exciting community event offering free admission and free on-site parking. We offer games for all ages, Food Trucks, Baked Goods, Sausage Biscuits, Free entertainment, Arts & Crafts, Pony Rides (10am-1pm), Vendors, Christmas Shop, Silent Auction, White Elephant Sale, Jump Castle & Obstacle Course, Pet Fair and so much More!

Back again this year we will have one price wrist bands for the games and rides. With something for everyone, the Fall Family Festival is a great way to enjoy time with friends and family, and to meet others in the community. Please no pets allowed.

Listen to ghost stories, take part in festival games, and enjoy delicious food, all while wearing your favorite costume. Hutchinson Square will be surrounded by scarecrow displays created by local businesses and groups, and guests can vote for their favorites! All proceeds benefit the JSL of Summerville School Supply Fund for Dorchester School Districts 2 and 4.

Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival

Come out and enjoy the Annual Children’s Day Festival, featuring carnival games and rides, live entertainment, face painting, and much more! Admission and all activities are free!

Summerville Italian Festival

Hutchinson Square, Historic downtown Summerville

Experience authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of downtown Summerville. Along with tasty food to sample, there will also be a variety of imported and local wines to try. Admission is free!

The Lowcountry’s oldest and most beloved Oktoberfest celebration returns to MUSC Health Stadium annually for a memorable day of seasonal beer, German music and food, and homemade fun.

Fam Jam, A Free Family Festival

Marion Square, 329 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29403

FAM JAM is the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry’s signature annual event celebrating family and community togetherness and the power of PLAY. With the help of more than 30 community partners, CML transforms Marion Square in the heart of downtown Charleston into an engaging and innovative playscape. Featuring live music, entertainment, and hands-on activities,
this free family festival encourages kids to move their bodies and stretch their imaginations.

Harvest Festival & Block Party

Olde Village, North Charleston (East Montague Avenue, between Jenkins and Virginia Avenues)

Head to the 4th annual Harvest Festival, a free event for people of all ages! Activities will include trick or treating for kids 12 & under, a kids zone with crafts, face painting and inflatables, an artist market, pop-up pumpkin patch, live music and more!!
