Building Family Memories One Jump at a Time

Imagine a Saturday where you could spend quality time with your family, play like a kid, get your heart rate up, build family memories, and leave with happy (and tired!) kids. That’s the Saturday I had recently when I took my family to Flight Adventure Park.

I have an (almost) five-year-old son and an (almost) three-year-old daughter, and my husband and I were both very excited to see that Flight has a special ‘Kids Flight’ time on Saturday mornings (throughout the week) where everyone jumping must be six years or younger. Thinking about my daughter jumping with a bunch of ‘big kids’ was a little overwhelming, so this time worked perfectly for us. We were able to jump from 10-11 and then play in the arcade as older kids were arriving.

What did you do?

EVERYTHING!! We swung on a trapeze. We worked through a Ninja-style obstacle course. We jumped. We played in foam pits. We tried to climb a rope ladder. We played dodgeball. We (my husband) lost his phone in said foam pit. And then we jumped some more! They even have an entire area filled with bounce houses and inflatable slides that we are excited to try next time.

Watching my son’s determination and persistence on the rope ladder is one of those memories I’ll hold onto forever. As he flipped and fell and shouted “again” over and over. And I can still hear the giggles of my daughter as she jumped off the trampoline and found herself covered in foam squares.

Weren’t you worried about COVID?

Honestly, no! First of all, the place is HUGE so we were able to be socially distanced the entire time. Secondly, the entire facility looked (and smelled!) very clean. I’ve been to a different establishment that had a certain aroma of sweaty people, and that was just not the case at Flight. I even found out they use an Antimicrobial Fogging system that keeps everything bacteria and virus free for up to three weeks! In today’s world that translates to excellent customer service in my mind. They are looking out for me and my family and you and yours. Check out their COVID precautions for yourself!

Party Time!

While we didn’t attend or host a birthday party at Flight, I did get to see the party set-up, and it looks like a dream! Talk about VIP treatment! Each party gets its own party host in charge of set up and clean up, so you can walk in and party. They have pizza and refreshments and you’re allowed to bring in your own cake. You know your child has that special one picked out anyway, right? Combining customer service, party planners, and the ultimate VIP experience for the entire party is hard to pass up. This will definitely be on my radar as my kids get a little older.

Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the ‘same ole, same ole’ routine, and I would strongly encourage you to book a day at Flight. Bust out of your routine and infuse some fun and adventure into your family.
