Our first ever speed dating for mom friends is less than two weeks away and we can’t wait to connect with new friends! Thank you New York Life and Foundation Family Chiropractic for partnering with us to bring this event to Charleston!
We get so many requests about how to meet mom friends and are so excited to bring this event to our community to do just that. Our goal is to have fun, relax and make this a stress-free night to meet your MFF (mom friend forever!) Tickets are limited so we wanted to answer any questions you may have so that you can buy your ticket today!
Mom Mingle Frequently Asked Questions
What will the event be like?
This will be speed dating with a twist to make friendships. You will be seated across from another mom. Each “date” is four minutes long and gives you time to introduce yourself plus Q&A game time. At the end of the four minutes, one mom will move one seat over and the next date will begin. At the end of the night, you will leave having met at least 10 new moms!
Where is it?
The Exchange Mount Pleasant is located at 3003 Dunes West Blvd, Mount Pleasant, SC.
What time does it start?
The event, Mom Mingle, starts at 6 pm with speed dating officially beginning at 6:30.
Can I come alone?
ABSOLUTELY! We planned this event so no one feels “left out.” It will be structured with almost zero downtime to feel awkward.
If you have ever complained about not having mom friends then this is the perfect event for you! If you feel uncomfortable making new friends (don’t we all?!) then this is the event for you! We want you to leave this event with your friendship cup runneth over!
What if I don’t know what to say?
We won’t leave you hanging! We promised you an awkward-free night and we have the details covered to provide that exactly. Each table will have prompts and questions to use to surpass any awkward silences.
Example questions:
- Which household chores do you most enjoy?
- What is one thing that would make your bucket list?
- If calories didn’t count, what could you eat every day?
- What superhero power do you wish you possessed?
You don’t have to use the prompts but they are a fun way to break the ice and see where the conversation takes you! You are always allowed to say PASS on any question you don’t want to answer. You do YOU!
How will I reconnect with the moms I met?
You will meet at least 10 moms one-on-one at this event. We will provide card-sized paper to share your contact information with moms you meet at the event.
Can I buy a ticket that night?
NO! Tickets are limited and MUST be purchased before the event.

What should I wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you! This will be an indoor event. If you want to use the night as an excuse to dress up, do it! If your most comfortable leggings are your go-to outfit, do it! Or it is the perfect excuse to make an appointment with Subtle and Sass for a style box, schedule a virtual styling session, a closet makeover, or drop into the showroom for a private shopping appointment.
