Are you new to the Charleston area (within the last 12 months or so)? Then this event is just for you!
Moving to a new city is hard. Aside from adjusting to a new normal, you also have to figure out how to navigate around town, where the best restaurants are (for date night and for the kids), where to have your child’s birthday party, who is going to be responsible for capturing the perfect family photos, which dentists and orthodontists you should visit, and so on and so on.
When you are on your own in a sea of new experiences and people, you remember simple kindnesses and conversations from helpful, friendly locals. Those moments at the park when another mom was willing to share her favorite playgrounds and where she gets her hair cut. That time at the grocery store when another mom told you where to buy the freshest produce and the place her daughter loves to take gymnastics – all of those conversations were SO helpful in adjusting to this city. And we want to provide a similar experience for you at our Welcome to Charleston Newbie Event geared specifically towards new moms to the Charleston area!
We’ve teamed up with our friends and sponsors at Panera Bread to provide an opportunity for you to connect with other moms to help answer all your questions about what you need to know about the Holy City to help make your transition smoother.

More About Panera Bread
We care about the simple things: freshly-baked breads, attention to detail, a warm place to gather and our local neighborhoods. That’s why at Panera Bread bakery-cafes, bakers spend their nights baking breads in stone deck and convection ovens before we open our doors each morning. This overnight effort ensures that everything from your morning bagel to your late afternoon sandwich was baked fresh, that same day. We apply this same dedication to all of our café items, from fresh, crisp salads with unique flavor combinations, to our savory selection of soups. At the end of each day, we donate unsold bakery products to the community and then start all over again.
