We are proud to partner with Roper St. Francis Healthcare to bring you the following article.

Pregnancy is a time of happy anticipation. Now, expecting moms have a new, beautifully renovated state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit and level II nursery at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital to welcome their bundle of joy.

This major renovation, the first since the hospital opened 26 years ago, features 11 brightly lit large labor and delivery rooms to induce a relaxing experience for new mothers, their babies, and their loved ones. Each room has now doubled in size to 400 square feet with spa-like bathrooms and state-of-the-art support equipment, providing the best in relaxation and healthcare.

Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital incorporates low-intervention births and allows for increased privacy for families with babies born at or after 32 weeks who weigh more than 3.3 pounds while three nurse stations closely monitor the mom’s progress.

The new renovation also takes into consideration the needs of the expecting moms with five beautiful antepartum rooms for treatment of pre-term labor, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and diabetes education.
